The comedy comes on Tuesday as Vir Das is the next comedian to release his new Netflix stand-up special. Das is a star in his native Bollywood and the first comedian from India to have an original Netflix special with 2017's Abroad Understanding. Losing It lands this week and a third special comes in 2019. Das is also featured in the upcoming spy dramedy Whiskey Cavalier along with Scott Foley and Lauren Cohan.
On Saturday, Pete Holmes will release his next HBO stand-up special about a month before the new season of his Judd Apatow-produced series, Crashing kicks off. The special, Dirty Clean will serve as the follow-up to 2016’s Faces And Sounds. A few big things happened to Holmes since then, he got married, and is a new dad. In a way fulfilling a quest set forth from his first comedy album where he declares himself of being a “fun dad” type of guy.
