Tickets to the 10th and final Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival are on sale now

The lineup announcement for this year's Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival -- an annual event held in Brooklyn by the stand-up and voice actor -- is bittersweet: along with the fest's 10th lineup came the news that this will be its last.

Ten years ago, the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival debuted, and it was immediately unlike any other comedy event out there: with incredible guests from far beyond the confines of the comedy world, hilariously named shows, and tongue-in-cheek "perks" like a therapist on hand to dispense advice to attendees, Mirman's fest was both a collection of incredible artists and a pretty accurate representation of the beloved alt comic's own sensibilities.

This September 15th - 19th, Mirman will kick off his event for the 10th and final time, with a well-curated lineup that includes legendary comics, classic musicians, bestselling authors, up-and-coming stand-ups, and, of course, Neil deGrasse Tyson. Plus, more! According to the fest:

As per EMCF tradition, attendees will be treated to fun extras including career advice from a unicyclist, giant Jenga with pilgrims, a Mike Pence look-a-like afterparty and more. There will also be A Day of Cardboard where companies can sponsor a cardboard box: S, M, L, XL ($500, $1000, $5000, $10000). Eugene will write a very short blurb about your company on a cardboard box for all to see during the festival’s special full day of cardboard, which will feature just these boxes near a small pile of cardboard.

There are always lots of surprises -- whether it's an unexpected guest dropping in or an unexpected bounce house outside the venue -- so you won't want to miss your last chance to experience the magic. More shows and performers will be announced closer to the event. All events take place at Brooklyn's Bell House and Union Hall, except for Monday night's special StarTalk! event. Here's the fest's full schedule (for now), with links to snag tickets:
