IFC has announced the season 2 premiere date of their breakout comedy Brockmire a series about a former major league baseball announcer (Hank Azaria) who is trying to put his life back together after a public meltdown. Season 1 saw of the show started us 10 years after the meltdown and Jim Brockmire is announcing in the minor leagues and might have a bit of a drinking problem.
We last saw Brockmire leaving his girlfriend Jules (Amanda Peet) and heading to New Orleans for the chance to call games in New Orleans, where he feels might just help him wipe the slate clean and work more of his newfound fame from his podcast Brock Bottom. Can he resist Sin City and stop pining for his love? Well we'll find out when the new season returns on April 25th on IFC.
