Chris Rock once famously said, "I miss my dad, and I miss Sam Kinison" when talking about the late, great stand-up comedian. Kinison, the son of a minister was one of the most-explosive comedians of the 1980s. Spike TV will air a new documentary about the life of Sam Kinison called, I Am San Kinison. Continuing the Spike's partnership with Network entertainment, who back in 2015 produced the doc, I Am Chris Farley which also aired on Spike.
The documentary features interviews with the likes of Jay Leno, Bill Burr, Bob Saget, Joe Rogan, Bill Kinison, and Sherry Kinison as they talk about the excess in which Sam existed on this planet. The doc also includes a few animated segments in-between the interviews. I Am Sam Kinison premieres on Spike on December 19th at 10pm.
