This week in comedy: "The Mayor" takes office

While last week, CBS and NBC rolled out their new seasons of sitcoms, this week it's FOX and ABC's turn with the return of the animation block and ABC is showing off its new sitcom, The Mayor. ABC has really worked magic targeting multi-cultural shows and hitting paydirt first with Modern Family, then with Black-ish, and Fresh Off The Boat. The Mayer tells the story of a struggling rapper running for mayor of his hometown to help gain some exposure. He then wins and realizes that he needs some assistance to actually run his hometown, so he recruits the campaign manager from his rival (Lea Michele) and gets to work. Yvette Nicole Brown also stars.
