This week on TV: "Crashing" premieres and Roy Wood Jr. stands up

It's been a long time coming but this is the week! Pete Holmes' new HBO series, Crashing will premiere this week. The series is loosely based on Holmes' life as an up-and-coming NYC comedian who couch surfs at his friend's places after splitting from his wife. Holmes developed the show with Judd Apatow and it stars many comedians you would recognize. It's bound to be your next favorite show. Check it out the premiere this Sunday on HBO.

Also in the "long time coming" category is the premiere of our pal Roy Wood Jr.'s stand-up comedy special, Father Figure. Roy has been a beast of a comedian for years and his addition to The Daily Show has only helped improve his profile. Now, the world has the chance to catch Roy do what he does best and perform some damn good stand-up comedy.
