Wyatt Cenac's new HBO series, "Problem Areas" set to debut this April

Wyatt Cenac, longtime correspondent for The Daily Show and former host of Night Train is ready for his next move. A while back he inked a deal with HBO to work on a new series, and we now know when that series will happen. John Oliver will serve as an executive producer of the show adding to his clout with HBO as Cenac will contribute more to HBO's late night talk/comedy series that are currently being held down by Bill Mahr and Oliver.

Cenac's show, Problem Areas will be an examination of the wide range of social and cultural problems facing Americans. In addition to in-studio commentary on current events, the show will feature documentary-style field reports that serve as the focal point of each episode. The show will take Cenac around the country as he investigates the systemic issues from his unique perspective. But it will not always be heavy topics, Cenac will also tackle some of the more benign problems facing America as he offers comedic solutions to everyday inconveniences.

Problem Areas debuts Friday, April 13th at 11:30pm on HBO
