Bargatze, Stelling, Soder, Glaser, Cole, and Feimster set to record Netflix specials next week

Netflix is in no shortages of announcing more and more stand-up comedy specials. Late yesterday after making a monstrous Louis C.K. announcement the streaming service announced plans to record stand-up specials for 6 comedians next week in Los Angeles at the Cicada Restaurant.

For a while, rumors have been abound that the streaming giant was prepping to tape half hour specials in the spirit of what Comedy Central does for up-and-coming comedians that might not fully have an hours worth of material yet. But the names announced for these tapings - Nikki Glaser, Beth Stelling, Deon Cole, Dan Soder, Fortune Feimster, and Nate Bargatze are a bit different. As all 6 of these comedians are capable of well more than an hour's worth of material with more than half of them putting out new hours within the last year alone. The tapings are billed as each comedian will perform "a new set of material at each taping." Leading us to believe that the structure could also be more of a Premium Blend or Live At Gotham vibe where 7-10 minutes are taped by each act.

Tapings will be on February 28th and March 1st and they are free. If you'd like to get tickets, sign up now.
