The titular character, portrayed by Michael Jai White, posted a teaser video on Twitter alluding that he's planning on resurrecting the smooth talking, hard-kicking blaxploitation parody crime fighter for another live run. When the movie was first released in 2009 it was was such a surprise, taking the genre and fully setting it on its side as it sent up the 70s tropes.
