British stand-up comedian Jimmy Carr is returning to Netflix with his newest comedy special, Natural Born Killer, premiering on April 16, 2024. A first look at the new special has been unveiled in a new clip, where Carr brilliantly offers his take on "how to apologize for jokes."
Natural Born Killer marks the comic's fourth special for Netflix following His Dark Material (2021), The Best of Ultimate Gold Greatest Hits (2019) and Funny Business (2016).
In his latest special, Carr takes this hour to refute the idea that you can't joke about anything these days with his edgy takes on gun control, religion, cancel culture, and consent. This special marks Jimmy's first for directing, an hour that features lighting design changes to reflect different sections of the show & fancy tracking shots & editing that rhythmically match the material, making it a game changer.
This special was also performed as part of Carr's recently wrapped Terribly Funny Tour, where 1.2 million people in 45 countries around the world saw the tour.
Carr is set to perform at this year's Netflix Is A Joke Fest in Los Angeles, taking place from May 2-12, 2024 featuring over 400+ Artists, 400+ Shows, across 35+ Venues.
