In the summer of 2022, the biggest names in comedy today all came together for the inaugural Netflix Is A Joke Festival in Los Angeles. It was a 10-day festival that had something for everyone, and we were on-hand for it! Now, it’s coming back in 2024.
This year’s festival will run from May 2nd through the 12th. The star-studded celebration will take over practically every venue LA has to offer, including the Hollywood Bowl, The Greek, The Dolby, The Forum, The Palladium, Orpheum Theatre, The Wiltern, the Improv, the Comedy Store, Largo, The Laugh Factory, and more! Additionally, they are bringing back their free outdoor venue, titled Outside Joke.
“This is a special time for comedy, both for Netflixand the genre at large, " said Robbie Praw, NetflixVP of Stand-up and Comedy Formats. “We have the privilege of working with comedians who are selling out arenas, winning awards and building fandoms in the millions. In the 10 years that we've been doing stand-up we've seen the art form reach levels we didn't think possible. This festival aims to capture this moment by bringing together the world's best comedians for an unforgettable 11 days.”
Tickets go on sale December 15th at 10:00 AM PT at netflixisajokefest.com.
