NYC's PodFest is making a return to Manhattan for its 6th year of programming. This year's festival features shows from Earwolf, Forever Dog, Cadence13, Headgum, Westwood One, Smodcast, and UCB Comedy Podcast Network. Talent from The State, Kids In The Hall, CNN, AMC, Showtime, Comedy Central, Improv Everywhere, CollegeHumor, and others. John Slattery, Michael Ian Black, Deray McKesson, Kevin McDonald, Jordan Klepper, Wheatus, If I Were You with Jake & Amir, Kevin Allison, Abbi Crutchfield, The Moment with Brian Koppelman, Masha Gessen, ViewPoint with Bakari Sellers , Judy Gold, Marc Summers, Andrew Jenks and Dozens More!

The NYC Podfest programming will take place over the course of 3 days on two stages at the Abrons Arts Center on the Lower East Side from April 6th-8th, 2018.

Festival Highlights:
NYC live debut of Crooked Media’s Pod Save The People. Hosted by organizer and activist Deray McKesson, the podcast takes you inside conversations about culture, social justice, and politics by exploring the history, language, and people who are shaping the struggle for progress — and talking about the steps that each of us can take to make a difference. This live edition will also feature the show’s news crew consisting of Samuel Sinyangwe, Brittany Packnett, and Clint Smith.

If I Were You. CollegeHumor’s Jake & Amir bring their advice podcast to NYC PodFest for the first time.

What Really Happened? With Andrew Jenks chronicles documentarian Andrew Jenks as he examines and contextualizes famous figures and historical events, while discovering untold stories and unraveling newfound narratives. After topping the iTunes podcast charts, Jenks brings his documentary podcast to NYC PodFest as he does the show live for the first time!

Origins. Created and hosted by James Andrew Miller - the award-winning journalist and best-selling author of books on Saturday Night Live, ESPN, and CAA - will explore the brave beginnings of the worlds of television, movies, sports, music, business, or even human relationships to explain how greatness starts and how critical happenings come to be.

Risk! Kevin Allison’s (The State, High Maintenance) true storytelling podcast returns to the festival for its sixth year. This year’s live show will take listeners through the process of putting together a Risk! live show from initial pitch to final performance. Featuring special guest Marc Summers.

The Podcast For Laundry w/ Brett Davis. A man who loves laundry starts an abrasive and sad niche podcast. Andy Kaufman Award Winner Brett Davis brings us this aggressive, frustrating, brilliant audio project. Joining Brett with be comedy legend and Kids In The Hall member Kevin McDonald. Employee of The Month. A talk show hosted by Catie Lazarus. She interviews phenomenal folks about their careers, be it comedian Jon Stewart or activist Gloria Steinem or the Guinness Book of World Record Holder for Most Guinness Book of World Records. These candid conversations may inspire you to finish your novel or start one or simply self-medicate. Applying It Liberally. Interracial married couple Keisha Zollar and Andrew Kimler share a fiery liberal bias. But that doesn't stop them from going toe-to-toe as they debate the news of the week. Complete with original sketches, top-notch guests, and a candid autopsy of a modern American marriage.

Touche. Hosted by Jenn Harris and Jeff Hiller This is a podcast for the working actor/artist who wants to work more, the person still asking for that raise, and anyone who feels like they are endlessly in the middle. You think you could say it better? Touche'! You probably could!
