Is an Opie & Anthony reunion possible? Anthony Cumia, "open to anything"

With the fallout from The Opie With Jimmy Show ending coming fast and heavy and the fallout between hosts Gregg "Opie" Hughes and Jim Norton seemingly irreparable, the idea of a reunion has come from a surprise source.

Anthony Cumia, Opie's former co-host of The Opie & Anthony Show posted a video clip online called, "Open to Anything." Since Cumia's tumultuous departure from the long-running show and SiriusXM a few year's back, he's been broadcasting has his own show on his own network, Compound Media.

The clip came from Thursday's episode of The Anthony Cumia Show, when discussing the recent SiriusXM news of Opie stating he rejected the satellite radio giant's most recent contract offer. Cumia stated that he would be, "open to anything" when it came to the topic of reuniting with Opie and get the band back together.

While fans of Opie & Anthony shouldn't get their hopes up, Cumia wasn't exactly stating it was happening. Rather he was saying that he'd entertain anything. "I'm not a guy who says no f*cking way, I'm never doing that." Cumia's Executive Producer, Keith "The Cop" Maresca asked if he'd be willing to talk to Opie about doing the O&A show on Compound Media, Cumia said he would be open to talking but wasn't particularly interested in re-uniting.

Opie responded to the video clip with a tweet stating, "well that came out of left field."

While Cumia's Twitter tirade is what got him fired from SiriusXM back in 2014, it wasn't long after his departure that news broke the two co-hosts hadn't been on speaking terms for many years as their long-running radio show was still on the air.
