Tenacious D announce new tour and possible album

"Last week, Kyle quit the band... but now they're back together again." That's right folks, Tenacious D are back and they've announced both a fall tour and "probably" a new album to accompany it. The album, will be the follow-up to 2012's Rise of The Fenix. The duo announced a silly fun animated trailer for the the forthcoming tour. This is in addition to Jack Black's recent comments that the duo was working on a follow-up movie to 2006's The Pick Of Destiny. Tickets are available for purchase on their website.

Tenacious D’s tour - which includes a few festival stops and then mostly takes place this fall - includes a stop at Foo Fighters’ recently announced Cal Jam music festival. Earlier this week, Jack Black revealed plans to release a sequel to the group’s 2006 film Pick of Destiny. “Part Two’s coming out in October,” he said. “I don’t know where you’ll be able to see it, but we have decided that it’s happening and it’s coming out.”
