This Week In Comedy: Sisterhood is chaos in the new comedy, Quiz Lady (starring Awkwafina & Sandra Oh), premieres on Hulu. The new sibling comedy is about “a brilliant but tightly wound, gameshow-obsessed young woman, Anne (Awkwafina), and her estranged, train-wreck of a sister Jenny (Sandra Oh) working together to help cover their mother’s gambling debts. When Anne’s beloved dog is kidnapped, they set out on a wild, cross-country trek to get the cash the only way they know how: by turning Anne into a bona fide gameshow champion.”
Also this week, two new comedy specials are premiering. Ralph Barbosa's first Netflix special, Cowabunga, premieres on Halloween. Andrew Packer's new special, On Guard, premieres on 800 Pound Gorilla's YouTube channel this Thursday.
