Texas raised comic, Ralph Barbosa, has been having a momentous 2023 making his mark in the stand-up comedy world. From making his late night TV debut this past January on the Tonight Show, to touring this summer as part of Bert Kreischer's Fully Loaded Tour, and most recently performing a short set as part of Comedy Central's Stand-Up Featuring digital series (which now has over 3.5 million views since it premiered 6 months ago).
The momentum is only continuing as it has been announced today (first reported by Deadline) that Ralph Barbosa's first Netflix special, Cowabunga, will be premiering globally on October 31st.
Details on Ralph Barbosa's new special.
In his new hour, Barbosa “offers a glimpse into the world of this 26-year-old gamer as he shares stories of growing up with his grandparents, running a hair cutting business out of his bedroom as a 13-year-old, why he asked his dad if he needed to go to the moon to return moon rocks, and his fantasy of being passenger prince to his street-racing dream girl.”
The new hour was recorded at The Kessler Theater in Barbosa's hometown Dallas, TX.
