With November now almost less than a day away, we've been given the great pleasure of putting together this month's Special Tapings Radar. This is where we showcase & highlight all the funniest comedians who are getting ready to record their next stand-up comedy special & album this upcoming month.

Named “The Next Big Thing” in a recent profile by The Hollywood Reporter, Heather McMahan has been on the road bringing the giggles nationwide on her Comeback Tour. A beloved standup comedian, podcaster (Absolutely Not With Heather McMahan), and the best friend everyone wants, Heather has seen her popularity skyrocket with fans and the industry falling for her voice, wit and southern flair. Recent appearances include guest stints on The today Show, Netflix’s Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin: Ladies Night Live and the Netflix feature Love Hard. Heather is currently developing a half-hour comedy for NBC based on her life. She just released her debut stand-up special, Son I Never Had, on Netflix this past month.

Three-time Emmy nominated writer, director, producer, and standup comedian Neal Brennan has become a force in the comedy world. An across-the-board talent, Neal has found success in almost every creative vein in the comedy community. His latest comedy special, Blocks, is streaming now on Netflix.


As in-demand behind the camera as he is in front of it, Neal was recently a writer, creative consultant, and on-air correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He is a longtime collaborator of iconic comedian Dave Chappelle, with whom he has created multiple comedy fan favorites including the legendary Chappelle’s Show and the Emmy-winning Saturday Night Live episode immediately following the 2016 presidential election. Neal served as Executive Producer on Chris Rock’s recent standup special Chris Rock: Tamborine and as Director on fellow Daily Show Correspondent Michelle Wolf’s HBO special, Michelle Wolf: Nice Lady.

His latest special, God Loves Me, was released earlier this year and is streaming now on Max. Best known for his work on the silver screen, Wayans co-created one of the most successful comedy franchises of recent times - The Scary Movie series. Alongside that, he's worked with some of the most respected directors in the business, appearing in The Coen Brothers' The Ladykillers and turned in a fine dramatic role for Darren Aronofsky in Requiem for a Dream.

Chuck Nice is a Philadelphia native and an 18-year veteran of stand-up comedy with a rich history in television and radio. For eight years, he provided comic relief to The Radio Chick show, bringing the funny to New York’s radio air waves. From that time until present, Chuck has been equally busy making a name for himself on the small screen. He is the host of Buy Like a Mega Millionaire on HGTV, The Juice on Veria Living and The Hot Ten on Centric. Chuck is seen regularly on The Today Show, has guest hosted Joy Behar’s Say Anything and co-hosted The View. Chuck maintains his radio presence as the co-host of Star Talk Radio with Dr. Neil Degrasse Tyson where he provides humorous commentary on one his favorite subjects… science.
