Elon Musk Wanted To Test How Live “SNL” Really Is With This Wild Pitch

When Elon Musk was announced as host of Saturday Night Live in 2021, it didn’t take long for the internet to react. While he was not without his share of supporters - particularly from those interested in NFT’s - many openly shared negative feelings about Musk hosting the show, including some of the show’s cast.

When he was announced as host, Musk declared that he was going to “find out how live” the show really is. His monologue poked fun at some of the aspects of his life, including his kid’s names. But Musk apparently also came to the table with his own suggestions. Those suggestions did not go over too well.

Elon Musk reveals his wild SNL pitch.

As Musk revealed at an All In summit earlier this month - according to The Daily Beast - “One of the things that I think everyone’s been sort of wondering this whole time is, is Saturday Night Live actually live?”

Musk continued, “But there’s a way to test this. There’s a way to test this, which is, we don’t tell them what’s going on. I walk on and so, this is the script. I throw it on the ground. We’re going to find out tonight, right now, if Saturday Night Live is actually live,” he said. “And the way that we’re going to do this is I’m going to take my cock out. And if you see my cock, you know it’s true. And if you don’t, it’s been a lie.”

Yes, you read that right. This is literally what the richest man on the planet suggested that he do on live TV. Expose himself. Mercifully, there was a payoff. Well, sort of… Despite the SNL team being shocked via a Zoom meeting, Musk kept going with his bit idea.

“So I say, like, I’m going to reach down into my pants, and I’ll stick my hand in my pants, and I’m going to pull out my cock. I am going to tell this to the audience, and the audience is going to be like, ‘What?’ And then I pull out a baby rooster. You know? And it’s like, okay, this is kind of PG. It’s not that bad. This is my tiny cock.”

As one can imagine, the SNL team was not on board with this idea. While some hosts do come to the table with pitches, this may be the strangest we’ve heard of.
