"SNL" Sets Hosts & Musical Guests For First Five Episodes Of Season 50 With Nate Bargatze, John Mulaney & More

Breaking news: long anticipation for who's hosting & performing on the historic & ground-breaking season 50 of Saturday Night Live has been awaited. And now, the landmark sketch comedy series has unveiled the lineup its first five episodes for the upcoming season.

Who's hosting & performing on "Saturday Night Live" season 50?

On September 28th, kicking things off for the historic season of SNL is the newly Emmy-awarded Hacks actress Jean Smart with musical guest Jelly Roll.


On October 5th, Nate Bargatze will be making a quick return to & second appearance on the show less than a year after his highly praised hosting debut last October for the show's Halloween episode. Joining him will be music guest Coldplay, the band who's made a number of appearance over the course of the show's history (their eighth appearance overall).


On October 12th, yes, and? singer Ariana Grande will be returning to the show to host for the second time rather than be the show's musical guest, the musician-actress will be starring Wicked alongside SNL cast member Bowen Yang hitting theaters this November. Joining her as musical guest is icon & Fleetwood Mac front-woman Stevie Nicks (her first appearance on the show since performing as a musical guest in 1983).


On October 19th, fresh off his starring return in Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is Michael Keaton. Joining him is returning musical guest & Birds of a Feather singer Billie Eilish making her fourth appearance on the show.


And finally, after a one week break, on November 2nd just three days before the US presidential election, John Mulaney will be returning to the show to host for the sixth time. Joining him will be rising star & HOT TO GO! singer Chappell Roan.

When does "SNL" return for season 50?

The 50th season premiere of Saturday Night Live airs live on Saturday, September 28th on NBC & Peacock!
