Donald Drumpf has not been a fan of Saturday Night Live for a while now. Additionally, he's had a public feud with Rosie O'Donnell for years. Now, it seems the internet wants to merge these two ideas in a potentially really funny way.
This weekend, Melissa McCarthy took a hurricane-like attack to White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, an impersonation that he himself found humor in and played it off how a public figure should. But it was POTUS who seemed to be the most butthurt about it, as insiders claimed he felt it positioned his team as weak, and perhaps most painful of all, having a woman do it. While the feminist in us all should be seeing red at this point, it prompted many on the internet to call for another female comedian to portray Drumpf's top adviser, Steve Bannon.
When many online called for Rosie to drop in as Bannon. O'Donnell quickly replied to many (celebs and otherwise) that she's ready and "if called, i will serve."
@JohnFugelsang @Nick_Offerman Someone suggested @Rosie play Bannon on #SNL & I am here for it!
