Earlier this year, we learned that stand-up comedian Katt Williams will be the second comic to livestream his new comedy special on Netflix following last year's premiere event with Chris Rock's Selective Outrage. Today, we have a first look in a trailer for the highly anticipated global live comedy event. Williams has now given a name for the new special, Woke Foke, which will stream live on Netflix Saturday May 4th from the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles as part of this year's massive comedy festival, Netflix Is A Joke Fest.
This new hour will mark his third for the streaming service following his previous efforts, World War III and Great America. Overall, this will mark Williams' twelfth comedy special, which is being streamed live as part of Williams' ongoing Dark Matter Tour.
Williams earlier this year made headlines for his wide-ranging interview & appearance the Club Shay Shay podcast. As Netflix touts in the trailer: when it's live, anything can happen. We look forward to seeing what Williams has in store for this new hour.
