It's been nearly two years since we've seen a new episode of David Letterman's latest talk show in the hosting seat on Netflix's My Next Guest Needs No Introduction. Today, a special standalone episode has been announced that's set to premiere later this month with none other than the incomparable stand-up comedian John Mulaney.
In a new first look at the upcoming episode, fans see Mulaney returning to his Chicago high school with Letterman as they candidly discuss addiction, fatherhood and the state of stand-up comedy. In the sneak peak, Mulaney shares some of the earliest jokes he worked out including wearing a "sharp shirt" he'd "use [it] instead of scissors."
Over the last four seasons since the show premiered, Letterman’s featured a number of notable guests from the comedy world including Tina Fey, Dave Chappelle, Tiffany Haddish, Ellen Degeneres, Zach Galifianakis, & more.
