John Mulaney is headed to the Netflix Is A Joke Fest stage next month to headline the Hollywood Bowl & perform with his Big Mouth cast mates as part of Big Mouth Live at the Greek Theatre. Today, we've learned that Mulaney is going to be doing more than just performing. The incomparable stand-up comedian has announced that he'll be taking to the streets of Los Angeles to stream live on Netflix from the mega comedy festival in a new live comedy series John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s In LA.
Created by and starring Mulaney, Everybody's In LA is six live installments of a show where John explores the city of Los Angeles during a week when every funny person is in it. This special run of six episodes will stream live on Netflix during the Netflix is a Joke Fest, featuring special guests and field pieces shot in Los Angeles. As heard from the show's first trailer, we can expect appearances from just about all the biggest names in comedy including Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, & David Letterman to name a few.
This announcement also marks a further monumental move for the streaming giant following it's premier live stream of Chris Rock's latest special, Selective Outrage. And it looks like they're not slowing down anytime soon. They'll also be live streaming Katt Williams new special from the festival and earlier this year, it live streamed the SAG Awards on the platform.
Mulaney's new series continues his longstanding partnership with Netflix following his three Netflix stand-up specials Baby J (2023), The Comeback Kid (2015) and Kid Gorgeous (2018) as well as Mulaney’s variety special John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch in 2019.
