Kumail Nanjiani And Sam Rockwell Join Dark Comedy, “A Guy Walks Into a Bar”

Sam Rockwell and Kumail Nanjiani are going to star in an upcoming dark comedy together.

Written by Scott Rosenberg, the film A Guy Walks Into a Bar watches as a mild-mannered new father (Nanjiani) befriends a charismatic yet mysterious man (Rockwell) at a bar, and soon suspects him of concealing a troubling secret.


Gary Felder is on board to direct. The independent film has gotten a special waiver from SAG-AFTRA to proceed during the strike, so production is set to take place later this year.
