Each year in Jamestown, NY, the hometown of comedy icon Lucille Ball hosts its annual gathering of the biggest names in stand-up comedy with the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. And today, the National Comedy Center (the United States' official cultural institution & museum dedicated to comedy) is pleased to announce its return for its 34th year this August 1st-4th setting its first two headliners with stand-up comedians Nicole Byer & Jeff Ross. A third headliner confirmed for August 3rd at the Northwest Arena will be announced mid-June.
Nicole Byer, host of Nailed It! on Netflix, will be bringing her distinctive comedy voice to perform on August 1st. Roastmaster General Jeff Ross, fresh off his exceptional & blockbuster Roast of Tom Brady on Netflix, is bringing his newest solo show Take A Banana For The Ride to the comedy fest on August 2nd (both shows will be taking place at Jamestown’s Reg Lenna Center for the Arts).
“Jeff Ross has been a genre-defining artist for decades, both continuing and revolutionizing the art of insult comedy. Beyond the roasts, he’s just a fantastic stand-up comedian, an incredible writer, and a genuine champion of the art form’s past and present, which I love about him,” says Journey Gunderson, Executive Director for the National Comedy Center.
Journey continues, “Nicole Byer is a fearless performer with a candid, razor sharp take that brings the audience along for a fun ride. I’m thrilled to have her in this lineup and welcome her to Jamestown, where fans from across the country celebrate this craft with our award-winning comedy museum visitor experience by day, and the best live comedy shows by night.”
In addition to the show's three headliners, the annual comedy festival will be incorporating its Late Night comedy shows, Lucy Legacy events & more as part of this year's programming. These shows will feature over 20 of the most popular artists currently performing in comedy clubs nationwide who've appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers, The Daily Show, and more.

Tickets for the Jeff Ross and Nicole Byer shows, along with other festival events will go on pre-sale for National Comedy Center Members Thurs, May 30 at noon ET through Wed, June 5. Tickets go on sale to the general public Thurs, June 6 at noon ET, at ComedyCenter.org.
