Hulu has unveiled its newest comedy series produced by A24, Such Brave Girls.
What is Such Brave Girls about?
The disfunctional family sitcom is a show “exploring life and love in all its ugly chaos. The story follows a single mother, Deb (Louise Brealey), and her two daughters, Josie (Sadler) and Billie (Lizzie Davidson - Sadler's real life sister), attempting to piece their lives back together after their narcissistic father and husband finally leaves them.”
The new show is created by & starring comedian Kat Sadler, an import from the BBC in the UK. Sadler is a stand-up comedian, actor & writer who was awarded the prestigious BBC comedy writing bursary in 2019 and became the in-house comedy writer for BBC Studios. Sadler's prolific joke writing can be seen on The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV1), Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back (Channel 4), Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC Two), Unforgivable (Dave), and The Mash Report (BBC Two).
When does Such Brave Girls premiere on Hulu?
The first season will consist of six episodes and will premiere first on the BBC in the U.K. via BBC Three and BCC iPlayer on November 22 before making its debut on Hulu December 15th.
