Comedian & podcaster Tim Dillon announced a while back that he'll be re-teaming with Netflix for a unique talk-show style comedy special to premiere on the platform. And today, he's announced the title, premiere date, & dropped the trailer for his new special titled This Is Your Country premiering on Netflix October 1st.
In Tim Dillon: This Is Your Country, the Tim Dillon Show comic chats with everyday Americans about cryptocurrency, OnlyFans and other outrageous issues they face in this completely unscripted comedy special where no topic is off-limits.
This new hour is touted as him taking a "Jerry Springer approach" with this unique talk-show format special, which was reportedly taped this past month with little details unclear of where exactly. Members of the studio audience had to go through a formal application process to apply to be a part of the taping.
Dillon is the creator & executive producer alongside Elan Gale for TheYearOfElan Productions & co-showrunners Bill Dixon and Brian Frange. Additionally, Dave Becky is executive producing through 3 Arts Entertainment with Bernie Schaeffer for ITV America.
The news of This Is Your Country follows his 2022 Netflix special A Real Hero, which is no longer streaming on the platform in addition to Sam Morril's Same Time Tomorrow & Chris Distefano's Speshy Weshy.
