Taylor Tomlinson is here to stay on late night television!
The stand-up comedian's late night talk-series & game show After Midnight has been renewed for a second season on CBS following its quite literally game changing debut earlier this year.
Unlike the other late night shows, Tomlinson's Comedy Central-based late night series follows a unique game show format where she brings on three celebrity guests each week (including a large number of comedians) to compete in a series of topical segments from pop culture and social media including Group Chat, Hashtag Wars and sketch The Talk Show Portion.
The winner usually receives a gag prize including a pair of Tom Brady-signed boxer shorts or Tomlinson’s own haunted doll.
Past guests so far in its inaugural season have included Whitney Cummings, Kurt Braunohler, Kelsey Cook, Chad Daniels, Josh Johnson, Max Greenfield, Marc Maron, Kyle Kinane, Trevor Wallace, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes & Dulcé Sloan to name a few.
What they're saying about Taylor Tomlinson's upcoming second season of "After Midnight."
Amy Reisenbach, President of CBS Entertainment, shared her excitement for the future of the show in a statement to Deadline saying, “Taylor is a gifted comedian who brings a unique voice, energy and plenty of rizz to late night. I learned rizz is a real word thanks to the show. We’re excited for more of her daily smart takes about the dumbest things on the Internet.”
After Midnight will continue later this year in the 2024-2025 season airing weeknights at 12:37 AM ET/PT following The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The show continues with its show runners Jack Martin and Eric Pierce with Jo Firestone continuing as head writer.
Also executive producing with Martin & Pierce are Carrie Byalick, Stephen Colbert, Evelyn McGee Colbert, James Dixon, Tom Purcell, Whitney Hodack, Mike Farah, Joe Farrell, Henry R. Muñoz, & Jason U. Nadler.
