After months of rumors, today it was officially confirmed: the next season of Curb Your Enthusiasm will be its last.

Since premiering in 2000, Curb Your Enthusiasm has been a staple for HBO on and off for nearly 24 years. The show features Larry David and a talented cast that includes Jeff Garlin, Richard Lewis, JB Smoove, Susie Essman, Cheryl Hines, and more.

In February, Larry and the cast will return for one last season. While the show went on an extended hiatus in 2011 until 2017, we have a strong feeling this is it this time.

“As ‘Curb’ comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be – the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character,” David said in a statement. “And so ‘Larry David,’ I bid you farewell. Your misanthropy will not be missed. And for those of you who would like to get in touch with me, you can reach me at Doctors Without Borders.”

“It’s hard to say farewell to such a ground-breaking, brilliantly funny and iconic series like ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ which has left its mark across television and the comedy genre,” said HBO CEO Casey Bloys. “Working alongside Larry David and Jeff Schaffer as well as all of the comedic masterminds that comprise our producers, cast and crew has been a joy that I will always treasure.”

When does season 12 (the final season) of Curb Your Enthusiasm premiere?

The Emmy® and Golden Globe®-winning HBO Original comedy series returns for its twelfth and final ten-episode season Sunday, February 4th at 10:00 PM ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on Max.
