For the last couple years, Dave Chappelle has stepped in the producing seat working on a series of new stand-up specials titled Chappelle's Home Team. The first in this series of specials was Earthquake: Legendary from 2022 and released this past Fall was Luenell: Town Business, both of which were released on Netflix.

And now, we have the third special in this series of Chappelle's Home Team production banner from Chappelle Show alum Donnell Rawlings titled Donnell Rawlings: A New Day.

Details on the new special, "Chappelle’s Home Team – Donnell Rawlings: A New Day.”

The new hour was recorded last Fall at New York Comedy Fest at the New York Hard Rock Hotel, which is directed by Stan Lathan who also executive produces alongside Chappelle & Rikki Hughes.

The special's synopsis reads, “It’s a new day, and Donnell Rawlings is feeling good. Dressed in a blue suit, red socks and lotioned ankles, he’s here to discuss toxic relationships, traveling to New Zealand, aging, co-parenting and much more.”

Chappelle spoke to Variety exclusively & shared “I’ve been doing this a long time, and comedians like Donnell are not only friends but have inspired my own career. Anyone in the comedy community knows these names and knows their time to shine is long overdue. I am proud to be a part of this moment.”

When does "Chappelle’s Home Team – Donnell Rawlings: A New Day" premiere?

A New Day begins streaming on Netflix February 27th!
