Comedian & talk show host Ellen Degeneres is taking one last lap with her stand-up this year on a new tour & a special heading to Netflix later this year. If you've been wanting to see Ellen perform live, now is truly your last chance.
Today, the full list tour dates for Ellen's upcoming comedy tour aptly titled the "Last Stand... Up Tour" have been announced.
“To answer the questions everyone is asking me- Yes, I’m going to talk about it," said Ellen in a statement. "Yes this is my last special. Yes, Portia really is that pretty in real life.”
The it the comedian's implying is the controversy surrounding her treatment of her crew & guests on her syndicated talk show, The Ellen Show, which wrapped in 2022 after nearly 20 years on the air. Along with the announcement were details of Ellen's upcoming comedy special taping for Netflix on August 16th & 17th at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis as part of the aforementioned tour. Ben Winston & Fulwell73 are set to produce the new special for the streamer.
Pre-sale starts tomorrow May 30th at 10am local time with code CHICKEN. Tickets will also be available here to the general public on Friday, May 31, at 10 a.m. local time.
