Paul Virzi Has Been Touring To "Level Up" What Will Be His Funniest & Best Hour Yet

Stand-up comedian Paul Virzi has been a New York comedy scene favorite since his 2018 debut special on Comedy Central, Bill Burr Presents Paul Virzi: I'll Say This. So much of a scene favorite, Virzi caught the attention of fellow New Yorker & Staten Island native, Pete Davidson, who made his directorial debut directing Paul's second comedy special & first for Netflix in 2022 with Nocturnal Admissions. Receiving wide acclaim from both fans and comics, his sophomore special covers "awkward drugstore runs, his obsession with crime shows and why his wife sabotaged his fitness goals."

And now, fresh with his third hour locked, loaded & taped this past February at Chicago's Den Theatre, Paul is playing out his newest hour only a handful more times and is capping it off with final run of shows on his current tour, including an epic show at New York's Gramercy Theatre on June 8th (tickets are available here). This fantastic new show is one you need to experience live as he demonstrates his "level up" on this current tour.

“This comedy hour that I’m doing makes my Netflix special feel like a six,” he says to the Bonner County Daily Bee when playing out his new special. “And before, we felt like it was a 10. So things are going great right now.”

He continues, “I don’t think anybody’s going to be disappointed. I will tell you this though: If anybody is easily offended, do not come. It’s not over the top, I’m not filthy, it’s not crazy. I’m completely silly. For the most part, people love it. But if you take things literally and you freak out over things, this is not a show for you.”

So come ready to laugh, let lose & have a good time. Virzi's the man & we're excited to see what happens next for one of New York's finest after this anticipated third special coming up.

Outside of stand-up, Virzi can currently be seen hosting his two comedy podcast, Anything Better, co-hosted by Bill Burr, and The Virzi Effect, both on All Things Comedy Network. Virzi's also made appearances on a variety of TV shows, including TruTV's Comedy Knockout, AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live, & the NFL Network's Good Morning Football. He has also written for ESPN's highly coveted ESPY Awards.
