When the first three episodes of Saturday Night Live's 50th season premiered this fall, comedy fans online quickly took notice to share their admiration for the sketch comedy series' in house comedy trio Please Don't Destroy (made up of Ben Marshall, John Higgins & Martin Herlihy) and how they hadn't yet appeared as the fan favorite trio we know and love them to be. Some fans commented "the lack of Please Don’t Destroy on #SNL so far this season has been a bummer" as well as "where’s please don’t destroy this season? Please tell me that they’re still part of the show. #snl"

After three episodes, it was hard to tell if we were ever gonna get a proper Please Don't Destroy short this season. But thankfully with now four episodes in, we finally got our first proper Please Don't Destroy sketch this past weekend on SNL featuring host Michael Keaton. And needless to say, it was as chaotic as expected & so hilarious.

Please Don't Destroy takes a haywire skydiving trip on "SNL."

In the new short (titled Skydiving), we find two initially eager skydiving students (Higgins & Herlihy) taking a birthday trip for their first time jumping out of a plane. One of their instructors (Marshall) then shares how nervous he is being in the air, his luck starts to "not be on [his] side" which makes the rest of the trip start to go haywire.

The other instructor Dirk (Keaton) is visibly seen dealing with a divorce where he just lost the kids and comically contemplates jumping out of the plane for a completely different reason. Even worse, their pilot (Emil Wakim) is wearing Air Pods while flying their plane and has a TikTok playing next to him actively learning "How To Fly Airplane." It ends in classic PDD fashion, which we'll leave for you to experience for yourself. Watch the full sketch at the top of this page.

Ahead of the new Skydiving short, the trio has been actively involved in the show behind the scenes this season where they've played a part in writing some of this season's most popular sketches so far. Namely the Mile High Burger Challenge sketch from Nate Bargatze's episode & the Charades with Mom sketch from Ariana Grande's episode.

Additionally, Marshall recently starred opposite mogul & fashion influencer Kim Kardashian in a new Beats By Dre commercial where he plays Kardashian's "pill assistant."

Saturday Night Live returns for its next episode November 2nd with host John Mulaney & musical guest Chappell Roan.
