This Week In Comedy: The #1 live comedy podcast in the world Kill Tony, hosted by Tony Hinchcliffe & Brian Redban, is hosting its biggest podcast event yet for two nights at one of the most iconic venues in the world - Madison Square Garden. The Austin, TX based podcast just nabbed its highest viewed episode yet with 15 million in under three weeks with guests Donald Trump (Shane Gillis) & Joe Biden (Adam Ray) and hosted a massive episode at the Kia Forum for Netflix Is A Joke Fest earlier this year. Also this week on the stand-up comedy front: coming to 800 Pound Gorilla's YouTube channel this week are Tom Gleeson's Lighten Up, Lewis Black's Thanks For Risking Your Life & Pierre Novellie's brand new hour Why Can't I Just Enjoy Things?. Also releasing new hours this week are Brittany Schmitt's follow-up special to 2022's From Ho To Housewife hitting her YouTube channel, Horny, Brendan Sagalow's new special taped last December Thin Lips, & Tommy Dassalo's debut special Scam Artist.

On the television front: looks like we've got just one more week of most late night shows going dark in light of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. But luckily for us, there's a promising new show premiering this week we're looking forward to checking out. Mr. Throwback, the new mockumentary comedy series led by Steph Curry, Adam Pally & Ego Nwodim, premieres on Peacock. Plus: Netflix's hit drama series The Umbrella Academy returns for its final season with David Cross, Nick Offerman, & Megan Mullally set to guest star.

And finally: two new action comedies to check out. Kevin Hart, Jack Black & Bobby Lee are among the cast of the new sci-fi action comedy Borderlands opening in theaters this Friday. And on Apple TV+ is the new thriller/action comedy The Instigators starring Matt Damon & Casey Affleck.
