This Week In Comedy: Saturday Night Live alum, comedian & writer Kyle Mooney gets the nationwide theatrical treatment for his feature directorial debut, Y2K, a dial-up disaster comedy from buzzy indie studio A24. Co-written by Mooney & Evan Winter, the film takes place on the last night of 1999 and follows two high school juniors who crash a New Years Eve party, only to find themselves fighting for their lives. Mooney joins a select number of fellow SNL alum who've gone on to direct a number of feature films including Chris Rock, Amy Poehler, Billy Crystal, Christopher Guest, & Ben Stiller to name a few.
