800 Pound Gorilla Media has announced its expansion into scripted comedy with the upcoming fourth season of the series Greg In L.A , premiering on YouTube December 8th. This marks the latest milestone for the comedy media brand following the re-release of workplace comedy series, Burb Patrol, starring Matt Rife & Juhahn Jones, in April.
The series, created by Sean Daniel Cunningham & Gregory Lay, started on Instagram in 2022, where it quickly garnered a dedicated following thanks to its relatable humor and authentic storytelling. It was during its rise that the show was discovered by the founders of 800 Pound Gorilla, who were captivated by its charm & potential & approached Lay & Cunningham to produce a fourth season.
The series stars Gregory Lay & follows him as the titular character, "whose world is turned upside down when his wife unexpectedly leaves him and he loses his job—all within a single tumultuous week. As he navigates the vibrant yet bewildering landscape of Los Angeles, Greg finds solace in his loyal dog, Winston. Their occasional existential chats provide humor and depth to Greg's journey through awkward job interviews, dating misadventures, and the eclectic characters he meets along the way."

In anticipation of the fourth season premiere, the first three seasons will all debut on 800 Pound Gorilla's YouTube channel in a staggered marathon re-release schedule. Season 1 premieres on October 20th, Season 2 premieres on November 3rd & Season 3 premieres on November 17th.
Original cast members of the first three seasons alongside Lay include David Neal Levin, Jacob Jeffries, Octavio Solorio, Julia Tokarz, Julia Sismour & Chloe Famworth. Joining the cast of season four are comedians Kevin Kane, Katherine Blanford, Michael Yo & Ryan O'Flannagan.
