Jon Stewart on The Daily Show.

This Week In Comedy: "The Daily Show" Returns With Jon Stewart Hosting On Mondays

This Week In Comedy: Jon Stewart makes his epic return to his old stomping grounds, The Daily Show, as the show's Monday night host & executive producer throughout the 2024 election cycle. In the midst of the show still working to find a long-term hosting solution since its predecessor Trevor Noah left at the end of 2022, Stewart has graciously agreed to return to help put the show back on its feet after going through periods this past year running through weekly guest hosts (and navigating the dual writer's & actor's strikes). It also couldn't be more timely given its an election year to have such a seasoned comedic voice leading the narrative during this tumultuous season. We're certainly excited to see how Jon opens up the show tonight after being away from this desk for nearly nine years.

Also this week: so many great new specials to look forward to. Taylor Tomlinson continues her 2024 hot streak with her third special, Have It All, premiering on Netflix. 800 Pound Gorilla is elated to release new specials from Ivan Decker (Popcorn will be available tomorrow here) with Geoffrey Asmus (Prodigal Little Bitch) & Jon Fisch (Hinged) heading to our YouTube channel.

More cool specials to mention: back in October we covered some new specials being taped from Nicole Byer & Late Night writer Matt Goldich, and now they're both coming out this week on YouTube.

And lastly: Amy Schumer & Michael Cera's sweet dramedy, Life & Beth, returns for season two on Hulu!
