"Unstable" Unveils Return For Season 2 This Summer On Netflix

After quickly getting renewed for a second following its strong debut in March of 2023, Netflix has announced the return of season two of the Netflix comedy series, Unstable, premiering on August 1st.

The Netflix comedy series, starring Rob Lowe and his son, John Owen Lowe, follows Ellis Dragon (Rob Lowe), a universally admired, eccentric, narcissist-adjacent biotech entrepreneur working to make the world a better place (also in emotional free-fall). His son Jackson Dragon (John Owen Lowe) is…none of those things. Can Jackson save Ellis and his company and salvage their estranged relationship while also doing what may actually be impossible: escaping the shadow of his larger-than-life father?

In season two, Ellis lays out a series of challenges and mind games for Jackson to see if he has what it takes to succeed him as the heir to the Dragon empire, but does a newcomer have other ideas?

In addition to Rob & John Owen, the main cast for this season includes Aaron Branch, Emma Ferreira, Rachel Marsh, & Sian Clifford with recurring roles from Fred Armisen, Lamorne Morris, Iris Apatow, Frank Gallegos, JT Parr, Tom Allen, & Sean Clements.

Rob Lowe & John Owen Lowe executive produce alongside Andrew Gurland, Sean Clements, Claire Scanlon, & Victor Fresco.

When does "Unstable" Season 2 premiere?

Season 2 of Unstable will debut on August 1, 2024 on Netflix.
