Will Ferrell and iHeartMedia’s Big Money Players Podcast Network (BMP) have teamed up to create a comedy incubator that will help launch the next generation of comedy talent.

Named the “Big Money Players Circle,” the endeavor sees Will Ferrell personally selecting emerging talent to work with his growing podcast enterprise, which is currently home to popular shows like “StraightioLab,” “Las Culturistas,” and “The Nikki Glaser Show.” The chosen comics will be announced on the inaugural “Big Money Players Comedy Takeover Hour Presented by Straight Talk Wireless,” which will feature appearances from Ellie Kemper, Bowen Yang, Nikki Glaser, Matt Rogers, and Vanessa Bayer. The event will kick off across all iHeartMedia radio stations on October 5th, 7 PM local time.
The event comes ahead of the “Big Money Players Circle Live With Straight Talk Wireless” showcase, which will feature the comics chosen by Ferrell onstage with the podcast network’s established hosts. The event will be part of the 2023 New York Comedy Festival, and will take place on November 12th at New York City’s Hard Rock Hotel.
