800 Pound Gorilla Media Announces First Annual "Worldwide Comedy Month"

Environmental Awareness Month is in September. Heart Disease Awareness Month is February. Even Christmas has all of November and December at this point. But comedy? Comedy has a measly day on April 1st and then we go back to our normal lives. Well no more. 800 Pound Gorilla is proud to introduce the first annual Worldwide Comedy Month.

This month-long holiday will be an endeavor to celebrate, enjoy, and raise awareness for an art form that is growing in popularity all across the world. Comedy fans in the US, UK, Australia & beyond can expect an upcoming month of 800PGM-curated programming of new stand-up comedy specials, scripted projects, new releases, fan engagement opportunities and more. Some of the highly anticipated month's projects include releases from beloved comics Kyle Kinane, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Matt Rife, Modi, Ivo Graham, Monty Franklin and more.

The site will feature a list of the 800 PGM-curated events happening in the world of comedy each day in April. This will be a list of industry-wide highlights for comedy lovers.

Of course the public will want to know ‘why 800, why now?’ and as Damion Greiman, Co-Founder of 800 PGM says, “While 800 Pound Gorilla initiated Worldwide Comedy Month, it’s not just about us.
