L to R clockwise: Iliza Shlesinger, Atsuko Okatsuka, Leslie Jones, Andrew Schulz, Chelsea Handler, & Steve Byrne.

We're a few days now into November and with a new month comes new comedy specials in the works. Among recent specials shot earlier this year & now have premiere dates include Fortune Feimster's upcoming Netflix special, Crushing It, & Michelle Buteau's A Buteau-ful Mind at Radio City Music Hall also premiering on Netflix.

And now, we have our latest lineup for November 2024's Special Tapings Radar. This is where we showcase & highlight all the funniest comedians who are getting ready to record their next stand-up comedy special & album this upcoming month (here's a refresher on specials to look out for coming up from October's radar).

Here are 6 of the funniest comics who you need to see and be in the room for their next comedy special taping if you can (and are still able to if the show hasn't sold out yet). Your chance to be in the room for a live comedy special is closer than you think. Here's everyone you need to pay attention to that's recording their next hour during the month of November!

Iliza Shlesinger

Iliza Shlesinger is an award-winning comedian, actor, writer, producer and author, selling out theaters around the globe with a devoted fan base who are known for creating their own Iliza-inspired swag to wear to her shows.

In 2022, Iliza released her 6th Netflix stand-up special Hot Forever and her second book All Things Aside. She coined the term "Elder Millennial" in her eponymous stand up special Elder Millennial (2018), which is also the subject of Iliza Shlesinger: Over & Over, her “fan-u-mentary” which took audiences behind-the-scenes of her life on tour. Her other stand-up specials are Unveiled (2019), Confirmed Kills (2016), Freezing Hot (2015) and War Paint (2013).

Her podcast, AIA: Ask Iliza Anything (Earwolf), is a fan favorite and features Iliza giving out her barefaced life advice to fan submitted questions. She recently launched Iliza’s Locals, a three-episode series highlighting 18 of her favorite L.A. comedians. The series is currently streaming on YouTube & on 800 Pound Gorilla for an ad free experience.

Iliza taped her new special this past Saturday at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City. The new hour will be premiering on Prime Video!

Amongst her many film credits are starring roles in the films Coming 2 America and Ghostbusters. Jones co-hosts the podcast The Fckry with comedian Lenny Marcus, and in 2023, she kicked off a new era of The Daily Show as the program’s first guest host. In her new memoir, Leslie F*cking Jones, she opens up for the first time about how she faltered and triumphed on the road to success and, in doing so, encourages others to let go of the fear and self-doubt that holds them back.
