Actress & comedian Michelle Buteau is ringing in 2025 with a brand new Netflix comedy special this New Year's Eve titled Michelle Buteau: A Buteau-ful Mind at Radio City Music Hall.
Per the official synopsis: she's making 'HERstory' as she's "the first female comic to record a special at the iconic Radio City Music Hall," where Buteau "reflects on motherhood, marriage, and more" in her second Netflix special. Her first for the streamer, Welcome to Buteaupia, premiered in 2020 and earned her a Critics Choice Award for the award-winning special.
Taped at the legendary Radio City Music Hall this past summer, A Buteau-ful Mind was directed by Paige Hurowitz (who previously directed the Netflix documentary Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution & Wanda Sykes' Grammy-nominated special I'm An Entertainer) & Sandra Restrepo (who previously directed Anthony Jeselnik's talk show Good Talk on Comedy Central). Buteau, Hurowitz & Wanda Sykes serve as executive producers.
The new special marks Buteau's latest collaboration with Netflix. She currently stars in the comedy series Survival of the Thickest, which will return for season 2 in 2025 & also hosts the streamer's reality competition show The Circle. And earlier this year, she starred in the theatrical pregnancy comedy Babes opposite Ilana Glazer & Hasan Minhaj.
