Derrick Stroup Teams With Larry The Cable Guy On New Comedy Album "Eating Dinner Twice"

Alabama native, Waffle House enthusiast and stand-up comedian Derrick Stroup has been putting in the work to fine tune his stand-up ahead of the release of his debut comedy album. He's been crushing it on tour this year with some of comedy's finest like Nate Bargatze, John Crist & Bert Kreischer. Plus, the now Colorado-based comic has also been workshopping his newest material at the famed club Comedy Works in Denver.

And today, the comedian has teamed up with a legend & champion of new comics, Larry The Cable Guy, as the newest signing to his label, Git-R-Done Records, to release Eating Dinner Twice, available everywhere today.

When speaking with Larry the Cable Guy on The Fun Bunch Show on SiriusXM ahead of his album release, Stroup shares of the album, "this is some good old fashioned, middle of America, Southern-type comedy that I think a lot of people are gonna enjoy. I've worked on these bits for a long time before I let 'em go, and it's a fun one for sure." While this album is certainly for everyone, Stroup further speaks to his rooted Southern audience saying "I think every truck driver in the nation is gonna enjoy this one."

Before releasing the new album, Stroup made his late night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this past Fall and was also recognized as a New Face at JFL Montreal. Later, Stroup will be releasing his first stand-up special for Comedy Central shot earlier this year.
