Let Me Be Franq is the ballad of BICON Franqi French. In her debut special, French covers everything from family to race to sexuality. The comedian was named one of Variety's 10 comics to watch in 2020 and she’s currently the reigning champ of NBC’s national stand up comedy competition. French is anything but laissez-faire: she preforms regularly at the Comedy Cellar in New York and has previously performed at Moontower & Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. On the television front, she can most recently be seen on the 11th season of Curb Your Enthusiasm & the 2nd season of Pause with Sam Jay on HBO. She also co-starred in indie movies, Larry In the Sky with Diamonds and Palookaville, both of which were featured in Series Fest where Franqi was nominated for best actor.
French has a certain je ne sais quoi that causes audiences to adore her. In Let Me Be Franq, the New York Native shares her subway stories, views on Justin Timberlake, and more in her hilarious new special. French not only covers her own experience but brings humor to the American nightmare we live in. Her acute observations and personal stories will leave you crying and laughing because it’s true.
