Jen Kober hails from Lake Charles, LA, not the LA you’re thinking of but the great swamp state of Louisiana. Kober brings her southern, small town charm to the stage in her latest special, No Flies On Me (a condition which must be difficult to maintain in the bog).

Kober has twice, consecutively won NPR’s Snap Judgement Comedic Performance of the Year Award first for her viral Girl Scout Cookie Caper story and then her Nana Vs. OJ anecdote which got almost a million views.
In addition to her accolades, Kober has had a ton of success over the past five years on television. Kober first appeared on RuPaul's sitcom AJ & The Queen and Dead to Me in 2019, both of which can be found on Netflix. In the same year, Kober was on HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones and Diary of a Future President on Disney+.
Flash forward to 2021, Kober’s career has yet to lose steam as she scored a recurring role on American Horror Story and season 2 of Apple TV’s The Browns in addition to other appearances. 2022 was no different with guest appearances on CBS’s How We Roll and HBO’s Hacks. In 2023, Kober played a sheriff on Disney Channel’s Bunk’d and had a role in Disney+’s The Mandalorian.
Aside from booking a guest starring role on Sebastian Maniscalco's HBO Max show, Bookie, Kober has been focusing her efforts on her stand-up. Back in May of 2024, Kober sold-out two solo shows at Netflix is a Joke Festival. Now Kober is a featured comedian for the Cirque Du Soleil Show, Mad Apple, now playing in Las Vegas. Kober is also launching her new book One Hick Wonder in August so look out for book tour dates near you!

Kober’s screen time is often shared with other actors but in her new special No Flies On Me we get up close and personal with the omnipresent television star. Kober’s award winning storytelling comes in full effect as she shares anecdotes starring pickle jars, alley candy, and energetic pest control.
