Stand-up comedian & actor Mike Britt has been making waves in the comedy world for over the past two decades, waves that make Mike's journey to his first ever comedy special. You may have seen him perform as part of the original Def Comedy Jam & his first half hour on Comedy Central Presents. You have have also both heard & seen him singing the opening theme song to the hit Netflix comedy series, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

And today, "it's (more than) a miracle" that 800 Pound Gorilla gets to share the first hour-long comedy special from one of New York comedy's best with Mike Britt's Check the Mike premiering on YouTube.

In his debut stand-up special, the Brooklyn based comic performs a full 60 minutes of non-stop, laugh-out-of-your-seat comedy that touches on everything from the pandemic, how Brooklyn done changed to The Little Mermaid, Usher, and even R. Kelly. Taped at the mainstay & prestigious New York Comedy Club (where Britt can often be seen as a regulay), Check the Mike is a fresh & classic hour of comedy you don't wanna miss.

Before premiering the debut hour, Britt has also expanded his acting chops working some of the biggest names in comedy including Michael Che on his Max series That Damn Michael Che & Tracy Morgan's The Last O.G. on TBS.
