There's something in the air about new comedy shows & films heading to the golf course (most recent developments include Will Ferrell & Ramy Youssef's upcoming comedy series GOLF on Netflix & Owen Wilson's untitled golf comedy series at Apple TV+)!
The latest new golf leaning project comes from Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson, Joy Ride star Stephanie Hsu & comedic multi-hyphenate Seth Rogen: all of whom are teaming up for the new comedy film Par For The Course for Universal Pictures starring Brunson & Hsu with Rogen producing.
In addition to starring, Brunson will also be co-writing & co-producing the feature via her Fifth Chance production company alongside fellow Abbott writer Justin Tan, who will be making his directorial feature debut.
Seth Rogen & his production company, Point Grey Pictures, will be producing, who previously collaborated with Hsu on producing Joy Ride as well as producing TMNT: Mutant Mayhem, the Neighbors franchise, & the new Prime Video series Sausage Party: Foodtopia.
No word on the plot for the forthcoming film as it's being kept under wraps, but we do know its an original idea from Brunson.

“I’m so excited to be working with Point Grey and Universal on Par for the Course. This is a comedy close to my heart, and who better to do it with than some of the best producers in the game. I’ve known Seth, Evan, James and Alex for a while and I’m happy to finally work on a project together” says Quinta Brunson about the new project.
Brunson continues, "Justin Tan is my long-term comedy partner and collaborator, and we are thrilled to have the chance to work together on a film. Stephanie is a talent we are so fortunate to unite with, I can’t wait to see what we can do together on screen.”
Rogen adds to his excitement for the project, “We’re so thrilled at the opportunity to get to work with Quinta. She’s one of our most incredible comedic voices working today, and it’s such an honor to get to work alongside her and watch what she brings to this project.”
Brunson is currently Emmy nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress & Outstanding Writing for the hit ABC comedy series Abbott Elementary. Hsu most recently collaborated with Natasha Lyonne & Maya Rudolph on the adult animated comedy series The Second Best Hospital In The Galaxy on Prime Video.
