For the past three weeks, nearly all the late night shows (with the exception of The Daily Show) were on break either covering the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris or taking an extended vacation time. And last night, Jimmy Fallon made his return to The Tonight Show along with Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert & Jeff Goldblum (in place of Jimmy Kimmel for his summer vacation) returned to their home base for their respective shows.

During Fallon's monologue last night, he touched on all the big news stories over the last three weeks, mainly the Olympics & current events in politics. While recapping the big events from this year's games, Fallon covered how breakdancing made its olympic debut this year and in a big way thanks to Rachael Gunn, better known as Raygun, and her viral performance from this year's event.

"She actually received zero points for that," said Fallon while joking about her performance. Then he poses a thought for the audience, "you have to wonder where Raygun is right now." For those that have watched Fallon's iteration of The Tonight Show over the past decade know that anything can happen during his monologue. And lo and behold, out comes from behind the curtain an ambitious dancer strutting to the same music as Gunn that ends up being comedian & beloved Saturday Night Live alum Rachel Dratch.

Rachel Dratch made her breakdancing debut on The Tonight Show.

Full committed as Dratch does with her sketches, she hilariously ignores Fallon's questions while continuing to dance and doesn't utter a single word or any dialogue minus physical movement. "I see you speak through your dance moves. I understand," says Fallon to Dratch as Gunn. "Is there anything else you'd like to tell us?" And quickly she lures him in to do Gunn's famous bunny hop & Fallon doing her signature bending worm move.
