Victoria Jackson - former Saturday Night Live cast member from 1986 until 1992 - took to social media to share some news.
Jackson has recently been taking to Instagram to share updates on her cancer return, after having breast cancer a decade ago. This morning, however, she shared a new video in which she talked about where things currently stand. It doesn’t sound too good, unfortunately.
What SNL star Victoria Jackson's saying about her cancer return.
Jackson shared that there’s a tumor on her windpipe that doctors are unable to operate on. This tumor she says "eventually would suffocate me to death." She does say she’s received a “magic pill” to help her deal with the disease. That pill is a cancer growth blocker that will hopefully help shrink the tumor. However, the life expectancy she says is still around 32-34 months.
In the video, she did remain positive, saying that she’s had a “fantastic life.” Still, her goals she says are, “I’d like to see my grandson born — his name is Jimmy — in October, and get to know him a little. And I would like to see my daughter Aubrey have a baby.”
Jackson is perhaps best known as a former Saturday Night Live cast member. She was on the show as part of the 1980’s renaissance, once Lorne Michaels came back and fired practically everyone from the 1985-1986 season. She was best known for her Weekend Update features on the show, as well as impressions of celebrities such as Roseanne Barr. She also co-starred in the film UHF.
