Looks like we'll be seeing less of the Formans & the '90s gang in Point Place, Wisconsin.

That '90s Show, the spinoff of the hit series That '70s Show, has sadly been canceled after two seasons on Netflix. The news was revealed by one of the franchise stars Kurtwood Smith, who says that the show will be shopped around to more networks to pick up the show for a third season.

What they're saying about "That '90s Show" being canceled on Netflix.

"I’ve loved every minute of getting to bring Grandpa Red to life for you all. I’ve said it before but it’s worth mentioning again…this show had so much heart behind it and the most wonderful cast, writers, directors, producers and crew an actor could hope to work with. Thanks for letting Red and Kitty, their grandkid, all their grandkids friends and neighbors, the original cast members of That 70’s Show and all of our wonderful guest cast members entertain you for two seasons" said Smith in an Instagram post.

He continues, "To steal Red Forman’s words…we aren’t going to be dumbasses…we will shop the show, because good grandparents would try hard to get these kids graduated from high school." We await to hear whats next for this show following its current cancellation.

What was "That '90s Show" about?

The show follows Leia Forman (daughter of Donna & Eric Forman from That '70s Show) back in her grandparents’ basement with her Point Place friends during the summer of 1996, which means the gang is a year older and a year wiser – or so you’d hope. Now that school is out, this leaves room for more hook-ups, break-ups, and as much trouble as the friends can get into behind Red and Kitty’s backs.

The show stars Kurtwood Smith & Debra Jo Rupp (who play Red & Kitty Forman respectively) as well as its young cast Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Reyn Doi, Sam Morelos, and Maxwell Acee Donovan. Original That '70s Show Don Stark, Laura Prepon and Andrea Anders returned to recur & reprise their respective roles this past season.

During its premiere season, the show saw guest appearances from the original cast including Topher GraceAshton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, & Wilmer Valderama. This past season saw a ton of guest stars including Matt Rife, Will Forte, Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Seth Green, Lisa Loeb, Carmen Electra, Wayne Knight, Tommy Chong and Kadeem Hardison.

That '90s Show is created by Bonnie Turner, Terry Turner, Lindsey Turner & Gregg Mettler (who also serves as show runner).
